
We have been sourcing coffee from Bolivia for more than a decade, virtually all of it from the traditional coffee region of Caranavi in the rugged Andes near the capital La Paz. This represents our first purchase from the emerging specialty region of Samaipata, near Bolivia's thriving second city Santa Cruz, where the Andes and Amazon meet. A juicy Java varietal lot grown in Bolivia's newest specialty origin by our oldest Direct Trade partner in Bolivia, the Rodríguez family.
