While the Cup of Excellence competition shines a spotlight on the coffees that take the top spots, we often find the lots we like best are sitting quietly in the shadows. We tasted every lot in the 2019 Peru CoE multiple times, and kept coming back to the one that placed 17th, a blend of Caturra and Geisha varieties that tastes to us like fresh berries, sweet citrus, and honey.
